Preservation Act 2

The second half of a Ray Davies-created rock opera about trials and tribulations of ordinary folks in the idyllic Village Green, Preservation Act 2 offered listeners more of the story’s narrative elements where Preservation Act 1 showcased its musical ideas. Despite the imbalance between those albums, songs like “Money Talks” and the closing “Slum Kids” are highlights of this period of Kinks history.
