Recorded at Pye Studios, London, May 1968 and sent to The Kinks’ U.S. label, Reprise, for a shelved 1968 album, Four More Respected Gentlemen. The song was mixed to stereo and mono for that project, but only the stereo was originally issued on 1973’s The Great Lost Kinks Album. The track is also available as part of the ‘Village Green’ 50th anniversary release, out 26th October.
